Seller Agreement
Last updated: 28 August 2026
This agreement sets out the terms specific to traders and mining owners ('sellers') who list minerals, machinery, mine leases, or declare mineral supply on Mining Mandi, in addition to the general Terms of Use.
1. Eligibility to sell
You must complete KYC verification before listing anything for sale or receiving a payout. Mineral supply is declared through Supply Offers rather than a listing — traders and mining owners do not create mineral listings directly; admin routes matching buyer enquiries to suppliers based on their Supply Offer declarations.
2. Admin review and publication
A machinery or mine-lease listing you submit is reviewed by our admin team before it is published — it is never shown to buyers automatically. Admin may edit presentation details, set the public price shown for a mine/lease, mark a submitted quality report as checked, feature a listing, or reject it with a reason. Admin may also pause ("unlist") a published listing at their discretion, for example while a concern is investigated.
3. Pricing
The asking price you submit on a listing is your private input to admin's pricing decision — for mine/lease listings, buyers see the admin-set public price, not your private ask. For mineral grades, the platform's own catalog price for that grade is what buyers see. You will always know what a buyer is being shown before agreeing to a trade through the enquiry/lead flow.
4. Accuracy of what you list
You are responsible for the accuracy of everything you submit — grade, composition, quantity, origin, quality reports, and photos. Submitting false or misleading information (including a fabricated lab report) is a serious breach of this agreement and may result in account suspension and forfeiture of any pending payout related to the affected listing.
5. Enquiries and leads
Buyer enquiries on your listings are moderated before reaching you, and admin may also share a matching enquiry with other suppliers of the same mineral/grade as a wider request-for-quote, so you are not guaranteed exclusivity on every enquiry that matches what you supply. Contacting a buyer or being contacted about a shared enquiry does not itself create a binding order — an order is only created when a buyer pays through the platform.
6. Commission and payout
On an order paid through the platform, Mining Mandi deducts its commission from the order amount before the balance is paid out to you, per our Refund & Cancellation Policy. Payouts are recorded against a settlement reference once processed. Where a trade is agreed off-platform after being introduced through an enquiry or lead, Mining Mandi's commission and escrow protections do not apply to that trade.
7. Mine operations tools (mining owners)
If you are a mining owner, the operations tools (diesel, workers, machines, attendance, petty cash) are provided for your own record-keeping. Data entered there is visible to accounts you provision as supervisors for your company, and is not shared with buyers or other sellers.
8. Suspension and termination
Mining Mandi may suspend or terminate a seller account for breach of this agreement, the general Terms of Use, or on reasonable suspicion of fraudulent activity, without prejudice to any order already in progress being resolved under the Refund & Cancellation Policy.
